Happy May!

May is here and Cinna is right on cue and in heat! Yesterday she had her last day at social class for a few weeks, here she is chilling before hand with her "brothers" and some of her buddies.

Now it is just a matter of days before we summon this handsome devil for their romantic date.

Ray asked me if we need to play them some Barry White :-). Let the adventure begin!
I have a list of books I would suggest you all read prior to taking home your puppy. One of the best puppy books I have read is "The Art of Raising a Puppy" by The Monks of New Skete. It is a fantastic training guide as well as a good read. And by reading it you will get an idea of how we will be raising your puppies before you take them home since we will be using several of their methods.
The others are specifically about Swissys, first "Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, A comprehensive owners guide" by Nikki Moustaki. Second, "Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, A complete and reliable handbook" by Jim Barton. Both are great to read and refer to when getting and owning a Swissy. I cannot stress enough how important it is to educate yourself about training your puppy and having this particular breed before bringing one into your home. You will be a much happier Swissy-ite because of it.
We hope everyone is well and as excited as we are!
